My Process

This page outlines my process for conducting my research. It should give you a clear guide as to what to expect should you hire me to rediscover your ancestors.

  • Initial free consultation. This can be conducted via telephone, video chat or web chat depending on what is most comfortable to you. It will enable you to meet me and for us to discuss your hopes, how I might be able to help and in what timeframe.

  • I will send a follow-up questionnaire to gather any other known family history.

  • On receipt of a 50% deposit I will confirm your report delivery date and set to work.

  • If desired, I can send you updates during my research to keep you informed. If there are any difficulties or need for further information or clarification I will pause the research and contact you.

  • Once your report is ready I will request final payment. Once that has been received I will dispatch your reports.

  • Once you have received and had a chance to read over your report, we can book a closing consultation. During this we will be able to discuss your report and ancestors, you can ask me any questions you may have and we can discuss future research if so desired.
