Introductory Packages
Standard Package
£320 (~16 hours work).
The research can be printed and comb bound at additional cost.
In this package I will endeavour to use the information you provide about your parents and grandparents to rediscover your ancestors. I will research your 4 grandparents and 8 great-grandparents, aiming to provide with some details of your 2nd great-grandparents. If you don’t need me to research your grandparents you could make one of your parents the focus of the project and I will then effectively research 4 of your great-grandparents and 8 of your 2nd great-grandparents, aiming to provide you with some details of your 3rd great-grandparents.
I will conduct my research using birth, marriage and death certificates, parish records, immigration documents, and newspaper archives among other sources. I cannot guarantee that I will discover all of the ancestors I have set out to. Loss of records, children born out of wedlock and adoptions can all complicate matters. If an ancestor appears to be elusive, I will contact you to see if you would like me to spend more time on them or move on. You can also specify if a particular line is of more interest.
Once I have concluded my research you will be presented with:
A drop line ancestor chart showing 4 generations of your direct ancestors
A .pdf fact file for each grandparent and great-grandparent I have researched
Suggested next steps
Digital copies of all recovered documents relating to your ancestors
Bronze Package
£420 (~21 hours work).
The report can be printed and comb bound at additional cost.
Everything in the Standard Package, plus
A .pdf report of my findings comprised of:
Short biographies of grandparents and great-grandparents
All recovered documents relating to your direct ancestors
References for all facts and recovered documents
An introduction to Jamaican genealogical resources
Silver Package
£500 (~25 hours work).
The report can be printed and comb bound at additional cost.
Everything in the Bronze Package plus a more in depth report including:
Full biographies of grandparents and great-grandparents. Each biography will also contain:
Lists of their recovered documents
Lists of their parents and children

Price dependant on scope of project. You will be charged at a rate of £20/h.
This package is tailored to suit your preferences. You will receive everything stated in the Silver Package along with the option of including:
Further research into your 2nd great-grandparents and beyond
Full biographies for your 2nd great-grandparents and any other researched ancestors
Transcriptions of recovered records
A printed and comb bound copy of your report

Package
In this package you will specify a particular area you wish me to focus on. You might want to dig deeper following an Introductory Package. Perhaps you’ve been researching and gotten stuck on a particular ancestor. Maybe you’ve always wanted to know the truth behind some family oral history. Or maybe you’re interested in the ancestors of one particular grandparent. This is much less structured than the Introductory Packages but it might be exactly what you need. We will agree on a set amount of time for me to research, which can always be extended if needed. I would suggest no less than 5 hours in order for me to adequately research and report my findings.
As with all genealogical research, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to answer your research question. Loss of records, absent fathers and adoptions can all complicate matters. If it appears that I will be unable to fulfil your request, or require more time than agreed, I will of course contact you to discuss how to proceed.
Depending on your requirements I will produce a Standard, Bronze, Silver or Gold report for you (as described above). Reports can be printed and comb bound at additional cost.

Claudia R. asked for a Bronze Introductory package for her ancestors in St Mary. There was oral history suggesting that the family had come from Syria or Lebanon. I was able to find immigration documents for her great-grandfather showing that he had been born in Egypt and travelled extensively.

Venessa G. wanted to know about the origin of the specific ancestral surname of one of her ancestors from St Ann. I was unable to give a definitive answer within the 10 hours but I was able to track that surname back her 3rd great grandparents at the time of Apprenticeship and identify several ‘next steps’ of where to go from there. This was alongside providing names and some details for 4 great-grandparents and 3 2nd great-grandparents.
